We manufacture FlowDrya SRF drying plants to order at STRONGA's Hertfordshire factory and supply them across Britain. Solid recovered fuel is the tightly specified cousin of RDF: to trade and to be accepted by a cement or lime kiln it must hold to a declared class under EN ISO 21640, and a consistent low moisture is what makes the net-calorific-value, chlorine and particle-size classes repeatable. Honesty first: we do not currently operate a documented SRF drying reference in Britain, and we will not pretend otherwise. What we can show are working British FlowDrya lines drying bark, digestate fibre and woodchips, which use the identical hydraulic moving-floor platform an SRF plant is built on.

Yes. FlowDrya SRF dryers are engineered and assembled in Hertfordshire and delivered nationwide, factory-tested before shipping and commissioned on site with operator training and a hot test.
How does drying help SRF meet EN ISO 21640?
Moisture drives net calorific value, and an unstable moisture content pushes a batch between classes. By conditioning the fuel to a repeatable low moisture, FlowDrya helps a producer declare and hold a class under EN ISO 21640 that a kiln operator will accept.
Do you have a British SRF installation?
Not for SRF. Rather than imply a reference we lack, we point customers to our documented bark, digestate and woodchip projects in England and Wales, which prove the same drying technology on comparable heterogeneous feedstocks.
How does SRF differ from RDF for a kiln operator?
SRF is the refined, quality-assured grade: sorted, shredded and dried to a declared specification, whereas RDF is a cruder, more variable output. Kiln operators pay more for the predictability an ISO-classified fuel brings.
Can one plant switch between fuel grades?
Yes. By adjusting residence time and air temperature, a single FlowDrya can condition both coarser RDF and tightly specified SRF, giving a producer flexibility as offtake contracts change.
